Housekeeping

I just found out that there is a limit of around 300 blogs that you can follow.  As a result, I went through my list of followed blogs and cleared out a huge bunch of inactive ones.  This way, I can start adding new blogs that are active to my list once again.

To all those that have not done this yet, I highly recommend you to clear out your list of inactive blogs.  You will not be able to follow more blogs once you hit this 300 limit.

    i went through last week and got rid of all the blogs that don't update anymore, seems like it needs to be done every 2 weeks or at least once a month.

    Been doing this since I started. Once you get one that has daily in its name and hasn't updated in 2 weeks, it's a clear sign.

    Baxxman - yes. If you go to your blogger dashboard and look at the bottom-left panel of your screen, you will see the list of blogs that you are following. Click through them individually, you will be able to see when was the last time they update their blog, and you will be able to tell which are the ones who don't update anymore.

    I think the majority of bb.comr's made pointless blogs and don't bother with it anymore, I try and
    update mine as much as I can, hard when money is tight and I can't go out and review restaurants

    Im not anywhere near 300 yet but I imagine it would take a long time to go through them all if I was there, so I should do this now.

    Yeah I'll have to go through my blogs eventually to see if people are still posting, a lot of what I follow is new and many blogs don't last.

    yeah, unfortunately it takes about an hour to go through a list that size. I already did it once, I'll probably do it again every other week.

    Ugh this sucks, I hate limits. Luckily, I'm far from reaching it, but the day it comes it's going to be a huge hassle.

    It would seem as if the system encourages pruning of the followers list. Perhaps an alternative system would be worth investigating...
